If you don’t already know about the chefs in the Hottest Chefs of South Florida calendar, tonight’s a chance to get acquainted.

Chef Michael Wagner of Lola’s on Harrison in Hollywood is putting out complimentary tastes of his American cuisine at a reception tonight, 6-8 p.m., for a meet-and-greet event (cash bar). You’ll get a chance to talk to Wagner about his restaurant and have your calendar autographed.

The 2011 Hottest Chefs of South Florida calendar features a dozen of the area’s top chefs. It’s $19.95 ($2.25 shipping), and along with profiles of the chefs, there are $300 in discount certificates to use at their restaurants printed inside the calendar. (It’s a nice gift for a restaurant goer on your list.)
