When Lenore Pinello, chef/owner of the In the Kitchen catering/cooking school/interactive dining space advertised a dinner for this Thursday night, it immediately sold out. So she’ll repeat the event Friday night.
For $75, diners get a multicourse dinner of seafoods (the seven fishes incorporated during the meal) and wines provided by Howard Freedland of Bulletproof Wines & Spirits.
The dining “room” at In the Kitchen features large communal (and convivial) tables and a wrap-around kitchen bar. Diners can sit close up to watch the chefs in action. A demo of one or two dishes is always included.
Here’s the menu and wine list for the dinner:
Frito Misto of Calamari, Conch, Lobster Tail
Wine: Montesel Prosecco DOCG, Vigna del Paradiso
Frutti Di Mare Seafood Salad
Wine: Messenger White Wine Number One, MV
Classic Caesar Salad
Wine: Starry Night Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, 2011
Linguine with Clam Sauce (Mare Chiare)
Antonin Rosé “Cuveé Farigoul,” 2011
New England Cod Oreganata
Yamhill Valley Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir, 2009

(A surprise dessert wine is possible.)
