Tomorrow night is the official kick-off for Flavor Palm Beach – the dining program that offers prix fixe dinners and lunches at restaurants throughout the county for tasting prices to draw new diners.
The party’s at Palm Beach Motor Cars Thursday, Sept. 5, and features samples from a number of the restaurants participating this year. Get up close and personal with chefs from Pistache, PB Catch, Pampas Grille, Sandpiper Cove, Tin Fish, 3800 Ocean, the soon-to-be Del Frisco’s Grille, Graze at the Four Seasons, Texas de Brazil, Maison Carlos and others.
New this year are Tin Fish, and Boca’s Butcher Block Grill, a new steakhouse with a farm-to-table concept. Del Frisco’s Grille, a restaurant opening in Palm Beach this fall, will also serve samples.
Tickets to the event, with all money benefiting Share Our Strength (SOS), a childhood hunger relief organization, are $75 at the door and $55 in advance at the website, flavorpb.com. The list of participating Flavor restaurants and their menus also are there along with information about pricing.
Through Sept. 30, 2013, Flavor restaurants are offering three-course lunch menus for $20 and/or three-course dinner menus for $30 or $35, A few restaurants are priced separately.
