The annual Reach for the Stars/Dancing with the Stars event at the Kravis Center is Saturday night – and there’s still time for ticket buying.
Now in its 18th year, the benefit for arts education in Palm Beach County includes a dine-around, as well as the local version of celebrities Dancing with the Stars competition.
Dinner, with a show
The event starts with a food and wine gathering in small-tasting style.
The dine-around includes foods from top restaurants in the area, including: 51 Super Club and Lounge, Blue Martini, West Palm Beach, Cabo Flats Cantina & Tequila Bar, Café Chardonnay, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill, Echo, Grease Burger Bar, Havana Restaurant, Kona Grill, Leila Restaurant, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant, Reef Road Restaurant and Rum Bar, Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sugar Chef Cupcakes, Sushi Jo, The Cottage, Zuccarelli’s Restaurant.
Dancing competition that features nine celebrity competitors from major news organizations, partnered with dancers from local dance studios, will be held afterward.
Money raised goes to Kravis’ arts education programs. Displays of winners of a youth art competition will be on display in the hall.
Tickets are $75 general admission, and $125 for VIPS.
