Roy Villacrusis of Palm Beach Gardens’ Dirty Martini and the short-lived but acclaimed Kubo in North Palm, has joined with Rodney Mayo (Dada in Delray, Dubliner in Boca, Dirty Martini) and partners to create a menu for Kapow! Noodle Bar – another Asian street-food themed restaurant.
Expect foods like udon noodles with pork belly, Asian BBQ, pork buns – paired with signature cocktails.
It’s going into Boca’s Mizner Park, near the Dubliner – another of their restaurants. Scott Frielich, who with Mayo opened Tryst, The Dubliner, Delux, Respectable Street Café, Kill Your Idol and Vagabond, is joined by Vaughan Lazar, of Pizza Fusion.
Now under construction, Kapow! is scheduled to open mid-November.
Gary Rack signs on to Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue
Boca and Miami restaurateur Gary Rack announced he’s signed on to open a restaurant on Atlantic Avenue. Rack created Table 42, a wood-fired pizzeria in Boca and Rack’s Downtown Eatery and Tavern, an American concept. More to come on this announcement.
