Sally Stilley, co-owner of Snappers Seafood and Pasta in Boynton Beach, is hosting another of her Meatless Monday dinners. Tonight’s affair is in the newly remodeled wine room at the restaurant which celebrates its 19th year.
The restaurant owned by the husband and wife team of John and Sally Stilley has long served diners who are fans of the cedar-planked halibut and mussels Paso Robles. It’s won numerous awards for John’s unique wine list.
Sally, a yoga and Pilates instructor, created a vegan menu for her friends. She saw a need as others requested the meatless dishes, and now at lunch, the menu is offered to everyone.
Tonight’s dinner is being photographed by a professional photographer for use on the restaurant’s website; dress up, Sally says.
The special $15 3-course menu features Sally’s dishes, with choices as follows:
- Tomato-basil soup
- Tossed salad
- Gluten-free vegetable risotto
- Homemade “neatloaf” with mashed potatoes and vegetable
- Vegan pot pie
- Whole wheat pasta primavera
Above served with iced herbal tea and a vegan dessert.
