Rita’s Italian Ice, a chain from Philadelphia with several other stores in South Florida and 550 across the country, opens in CityPlace today, and to mark the occasion, will offer a free regular-size ice throughout the weekend to customers.
Rita’s features frozen custard, cones, “Gelati” and other frozen treats and drinks. More than 40 flavors are available, in fruit flavors like cherry and mango and others such as cotton candy and mint chocolate chip. Sugar free Italian ices also are available here.
Rita’s is on the north end of the outdoor mall, near the Lost Cigar store.
