Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner at Darbster in West Palm Beach

November 17th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Looking for a vegetarian/vegan Thanksgiving dinner? Darbster in West Palm Beach is your place – but hurry, tables are going quick.

A vegan Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings will be served at the waterside outdoor bistro at 2:30 on Thanksgiving Day; space is limited. But you also can get a take-out meal – perfect for cooks who have one or two vegetarians coming to the meal and only have squash and ambrosia to offer.

Alan Gould will be cooking up a plant-based protein “turkey” roulade, with porcini gravy, steamed acrorn squash with herbred wild rice and quinoa stuffing, sweet potatoes with toasted marshmallows, haricot vert with crispy shallots, organic cranberry chutney, pumpkin and pecan pies for dessert.

The cost is $30 for adults; $20 for kids under 12. Only the one seating is available, and there are limited number of tables guaranteed inside in case of rain.

All dinners must be reserved this week; reserve by sending an email to info@darbster.com – and plan to pony up a deposit to hold your spot.

I am interested in having you cater my Thanksgiving dinner. However – is there anyway that I can take it to go? I plan on 8 people. Thank you

    PS- are the marshmellow vegan?
