Where to Go for New Year’s Eve

Put on your silly paper hats, get your noisemakers out and hit the spots that have the parties.

Palm Beach:

  • Café Boulud
    Chef Zach Bell offers two seatings tonight –  5:30-6:30 p.m. (a four-course meal for $90 per person) and 8-10 p.m. (a five-course meal, $250 per person). Cafe Boulud – 301 Australian Ave., Palm Beach; (561) 655-6060 for reservations.
  • Michelle Bernstein‘s at the Omphoy
  • Two seatings here for dinner at the spot on the beach; 5:30-7:30 p.m. for a four-course meal ($125 per person); 8:30-10 p.m. for a five-course meal ($250 per person), and it includes a live band and Dom Perignon toast at midnight. Delray Beach:

  • The 888 Lounge at the Falcon House
  • From 9 p.m. to midnight, they’re serving hors d’oeuvres, all you can drink select beer, wine and well drinks. Toasts at midnight. $78.88 at the door. Music all night. 888 Lounge at Falcon House, 116 N.E. Sixth Ave. (U.S. 1 northbound), Delray Beach; (561) 243-9499.
  • Il Bacio
  • There’s a Mardi Gras-like party planned at the spot known for its wild parties. As for food, there’s a three-course, prix fixe menu ($100 per person, or $150 per couple). A DJ, live music, and party favors are included. For the party only, it’s $20 cover. Starts at 4 p.m. and rocks till 4 a.m. Il Bacio, 29 S.E. Second Ave., Delray Beach; (561) 865-7785

Boca Raton:

  • Pavilion Grille
  • “Dine, Dance and Celebrate” party has two phases. At 7-10 p.m., it’s $67.95 per person for a dinner buffet, dessert and ice cream bar, midnight champagne toast, and DJ.  At 10 p.m. on, dance and party without dinner, but with band and a toast, for $29.95 per person.

Lighthouse Point

  • Le Bistro

    Great list! If a list starts about spots open on New Year’s Day, Field of Greens will be open and its CityPlace location is serving breakfast all-day-long. A first for them! Pretty cool. Other locations open, too.
