How do you control aphids, nematodes, and white flies with no pesticides? Find out in a free Sustainable Gardening workshop this Sunday in Delray Beach’s Southwest Community Garden.
Sow Share is sponsoring the free event, open to all ages. Activities for kids include a free ceramic pot painting table. Free seedlings and homemade food samples will be available.
The class will be taught by Andrew Gerren, founder of Garden to Gardens. The Boca Raton company creates sustainable gardens and food “forests” in urban settings as well as in agriculture areas. Gerren focuses on native plants and improving the environment and foodstuffs with his gardens.
The event is free; a courtesy RSVP is requested for planning purposes.
