EatBeat: Bring the Kids to Decorate Cookies – Prosecco’s Second Annual Cookie Decorating Contest Saturday

December 13th, 2012 · 1 Comment

Got creative kids? Bring them to Prosecco Cafe in the PGA Commons Saturday to decorate holiday cookies and compete for cash prizes.

The Second Annual Kids’ Cookie Decorating Contest and Charitable Toy Collection for Kid is Saturday, Dec. 15, 3-5 p.m.

(A South County contest is Sunday, Dec. 16, 3-5 p.m. at Prosecco’s sister restaurant, Sasquella Café in Boca Raton.)

Kids get to decorate two cookies each (it’s free) using Prosecco’s icing and edible decorations. Winners get cash prizes of $75, $50 and $25, provided by PGA Commons. I’ll be judging the contest along with my media friends, Jay Cashmere and Steve Weagle from WPTV-Channel 5.

Each contest participant is asked to bring a unwrapped toy to donate to two local charities: The Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.

Reservations are suggested for your child’s place at the table.
