Sweet Greens a New Gourmet Farm Market in Palm Beach Gardens

November 5th, 2010 · 3 Comments

Just opened is Sweet Greens, a gourmet market in the Midtown Plaza  on PGA Boulevard. (North of III Forks Steakhouse by a block, on a corner spot.)

The market has a variety of fresh produce, most of it organic, and much of it locally sourced in the growing season. Also in store are seafoods, a bakery with fresh breads, cakes and pastries; packaged and pre-made take-out foods and other groceries.

Boutique product lines we like are here: Stonewall Kitchen products, Rose Italian products (from Pompano Beach), cereals and fresh pastas.

Florida oranges, grapefruit and avocadoes are here at good deals – fat navel oranges and tangerines were 10 for $1.

A wheatgrass juice bar is opening in the store as well.

Also on site is barbecue – from Swingbelly’s in Long Island, N.Y. A smoker and a barbecue expert, Dan Monteforte, are at the store turning out ribs, turkeys, brisket and more, all sold by the pound.

The store opened this week, but the grand opening is this weekend from 9:30-5 on Saturday, and 10-5 on Sunday.

Looking to buy some organic chicken if possible. Do you sell them or possibly know where we may find some.
    Thank you
