Walgreen’s drug stores will begin selling their own private-label beer, according to CSP, a convenience store newsletter. Big Flats 1901 will be sold for $2.99 a six-pack – bargain basement pricing for beer at less than 50 cents a can. The Genessee Brewery of New York is actually behind the new brew with the near malaprop name. No word yet on what it tastes like – we’ll get Dan our Beer Man on it as soon as possible.
