‘American Ethnic Foods’ – How We’re Represented on a Grocery Shelf in Berlin

I ran across the following video about a grocery aisle, labeled as USA ethnic foods, shot by an American gal in Galeria Kaufhof in Berlin, Germany.

The choices amuse me, but I’ll let it speak on its own – but feel free to comment on my site at the bottom.

What foods from grocery shelves do you think represent Americans?

I’m somewhat surprised Coke and Pepsi aren’t on those shelves, though they’re so ubiquitous around the world as to not even be associated with the US any longer, I suspect.

    That is interesting but where is the apple pie!

    I was surprised to see the hot chocolate mix and chocolate syrup. Doesn’t Germany have awesome chocolate of its own?
