End of the World: Two Questions

May 20th, 2011 · 5 Comments

So if we all clock out at 6 p.m. May 21, here are the burning questions you need to answer for the Food Editor:

1. What’s your last meal going to be?

(Some ideas here: www.lastmealsproject.com and deadmaneating.blogspot.com)

2. What’s the meal you’ll take with you as your favorite food memory?

    1. You mean I haven’t already had it?

    2. I guess I have a soft spot for Wib’s BBQ since the Blue Hole BBQ is nothing but a memory..

last meal would be chicken soup with kreplach, chicken and noodles.

If I was still hungry, I wouldn’t say no to stone crabs and/or lobster.

Appetizer of stuffies (stuffed quahogs) and then a New England clambake including: mussels and or little necks, sweet corn, sausage links (buckwurst if possible) , potatoes (both red skinned and sweet), onions, celery, white fish and a 1-1/12 lb Lobster…all served with drawn butter and salt (Lawry’s of course) and fresh cracked pepper. Watermelon for dessert and maybe someone could whip up a batch of brownies. Now we’re talkin’ heaven!
