I’m collecting vacation food photos.
Here’s Dale Carlson’s view of a tapas joint in Pamplona, Spain. Her description follows. Send me your photos of travel food and I’ll post them for all to drool over.
I don’t have to note that each of those items hanging from the ceiling is a ham hock. At the top is the black hoof, and at the bottom are those little cups to catch the slippery stuff that might leak out.
That’s me with the orange scarf, enjoying a cana y tapas.
The whole top of the bar is filled with pequeno platas with amazing 1-2 bite tapas. Fish, Jamon, queso y pimitons, juevos, you name it.
The acetos (sp) (olives) were also yummy.
The rack to my left is loaded with riojas wines (tinto y non). And yes, the riojas tintos were also a fave.
Can’t wait to get back there.
