EatBeat: Delray Marketplace Hosts Dine-Around Tonight

October 24th, 2013 · 1 Comment

tasteofdelrayAt a benefit for the American Cancer Society, diners can get in on a tasting of the various restaurants at Delray Marketplace tonight.

The entertainment, shopping and dining mall in Delray Beach hosts the “Taste of Delray: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” from 5:30  to 9 p.m.

Cocktails and appetizer-sized tastings will be offered by Bella Amici (pizza), Burt & Max’s Bar and Grille (cocktails), Japango (sushi), Red Brick Grille (cocktails), Shula Burger (appetizers and beer) and Terra Fiamma (food not noted at time of post).

Live entertainment is on tap, and those attending are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The center is new since summer in Delray Beach, and features the Frank Theaters IMAX Cinebowl and Grille – an entertainment complex with bowling and movie theaters. An outdoor amphitheater is used for special events and live entertainment.

Tickets are $25 at the door (or $20 online – still on sale). All attendees get a $15 certificate for shopping that can be used at most of the Marketplace’s stores. It’s good for 15 days.
