About the artist: William Oellers of Connecticut created this beautiful work, titled “Old Fashioned Christmas Tree” as a papercut, also known as scherenschnitte. Oeller, originally from Germany, practices the ancient art of cutting a finely detailed image from a single sheet of paper using only scissors.
He gave me permission to include this image of his papercut on my web page as a gift to my readers.
