Celeb chef Todd English is at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek tonight, from 6-9, to help kick off the season’s Sweet Dreams event in the Nectar lounge.
For the next three weekends, the casino features celeb chefs, a Yuletide village, a huge display of all-you-can eat desserts created by the casino’s pastry chef, David Gomez – including some sugar-free ones – and specialty drinks.
All good and for good causes
Flambe stations, a chocolate fountain, handmade candies and astries are part of the deal – and $20 gets you all that plus an open bar and a chat with the chef.
Here’s a tip, too: their Fresh Harvest restaurant was named “Best Buffet” by the Sun-Sentinel reviewer, so hit it for dinner while you’re at it.
Other celebs and doo-wop at Sweet Dreams
Rocco DiSpirito, TV chef, and Mr. Food (Art Ginsberg), will appear at the event. A special Belmont’s Doo Wop concert is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 ; tickets are $20.
No kids allowed: All events are 21-years and older.
A portion of the money from Sweet Dreams goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, SOS Children’s Village, the Fallen Heroes Fund, the Lisa boccard Breast Cancer Fund, and others.
