Pumpkin Bread Pudding Wins Sun Sentinel Thanksgiving Dessert Contest; Eggplant Cake from Mon Ami Now at Henry’s; Leftover Turkey Primavera

Judy Avey of Fort Lauderdale took first prize in the Sun Sentinel’s Thanksgiving Day dessert contest with her Pumpkin bread pudding and maple-caramel sauce.

Chef Adam Brown of Henry’s in Delray shared with my You Asked for It! readers the eggplant “cake” appetizer – now a small plate served at Henry’s. This yummy app originated at Mon Ami, Burt Rapoport’s Frenchie in Boca a few years back.
