Rolling for (Charity) Dollars – Tonight at RA Sushi, Downtown at the Gardens

Rock n Roll – for four charitable pursuits – at RA Sushi at Downtown at the Gardens tonight from 5-7 p.m. “Celebrity” sushi rollers, aided by the chef, will create one signature sushi roll that a panel of judges will deem good enough to be on the RA Sushi menu through August.

It’s during Happy Hour that judges will watch the newbie chefs roll, pick out a creative name, and present the rolls just so to woo the panel. Along with taste, the name, presentation and creativity can add up to the proceeds from the roll’s sales donated to their charity.

Diners also will get a chance to vote to award a “crowd favorite” extra point, while complimentary appetizers and food and drink specials are offered.

The charities rolling for dollars are Boys & Girls Club, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure – all local or area chapters of their charities.
