EatBeat: Chili Cook Off in Downtown West Palm Today

Weather not hot enough for you? Get downtown to West Palm Beach to fire up your palate with the inaugural Palm Beach Chili Cook Off at Meyer Amphitheater.

Home cooks will vie for $1000 grand price, while local restaurants compete for the People’s Choice award.

Live music and other entertainment is on hand for the day-long event, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The contests begin at 3 p.m.; samples will be available as long as they last.

Tickets are $10 for kids; $15 for adults, and free for those under 4 years old.

1st Palm Beach Chili Cook Off

  • Saturday, June 16, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Meyer Amphitheater (Between Datura and Evernia Streets at Flagler), West Palm Beach
  • Tickets: $10 and $15 at the gate.
