EatBeat: Northwood Village Art and Wine Promenade Showcases Restaurants in West Palm Beach

April 29th, 2011 · 1 Comment

There’s a great lineup for entertainment along with high energy crowds slated for SunFest in downtown West Palm Beach tonight. But if you’re not up for it, drive a bit further north to Northwood Village to get in on tonight’s Art and Wine Promenade.

The free monthly event continues to offer more sips and sups and art venues for strollers who promenade along the sidewalks of Northwood Road and 24th and 25th streets at Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.

Tonight’s event, from 6-10 p.m.,  features the grand opening of Bistro Bistro Bakery, as well as free cupcakes and dessert wines at Sip N’ Sweets. Create an acrylic painting for free at Paris in Northwood.

Shops and restaurants in the historic district will be offering tastings, specials and exhibits. Live entertainment is scheduled, and Mo and Sally from KOOL 105.5 FM will be on hand to entertain from 6 to 8 p.m.

Restaurants here include Cafe Centro bistro and piano bar, Hello Cupcake, Jade Kitchen, China Beach Bistro, Mirjean Island Cuisine, Harold’s Coffee Shop, Relish, Sunset Bar & Grill, Supe’s Jamaican Restaurant, and This is It Cafe.

Art shops, vintage furniture and electic antique shops, salons and other shops have made this revitalized neighborhood a destination for locals looking for a casual, laid-back experience.

For more information, visit the Northwood Village website.

Stop by China Beach Bistro from 5-7 pm. They will be handing out complimentary dim sum and sake during this time. They’ll also be distributing Northwood Neighborhood Preferred Cards giving you 20% off at China Beach until November, with more discounts being added soon.
