This Shepherd’s Pie, from Maguire’s Hill 16 in Fort Lauderdale is a great recipe to make ahead, freeze, and have ready when you need a comfort food fix. It’s from my column today in the Sun Sentinel.
Freeze them in freezer-to-oven dishes in single servings.

Y’know, you’d think that a Fort Lauderdale downtown staple like this restaurant/bar could count on the Fort Lauderdale newspaper-of-record to spell their name correctly.
It’s MAGUIRE’S HILL 16.

Isn’t it MAGUIRE’s, not McGuire’s?
Accuracy is the touchstone of the journalistic profession, doncha think?

It is MAGUIRE’S HILL 16. Caught it immediately and have corrected it.
Thanks for eagle eyes.
@South Ocean – it was JanNorris.com – not the Sentinel, who got it wrong.
